Spring Sweetness

I am so happy spring is here-except for the allergies! The longer, warmer, days are perfect for me. These pictures of Ava remind me of everything spring-ladybugs, stawberries, smiles, you name it! I especially love the happiness that goes with it and I was able to capture my niece’s sweet and playful expressions this day. I loved this kit because the colors went with her Minnie Mouse outfit. Of course I did the whole layout in Photoshop Elements with Duetica fonts. The playful DT Piper font was perfect for the title and journaling. Cousins

We are all so proud of Makenzie as she prepares to go on her mission to Brazil. Everyone will miss her but we know she is doing what is right for her. I was so happy to get this picture of Bri with her cousin before she goes. We Merrill's have a strong family bond and strong genes. It's very confusing to outsiders to try and figure out who belongs to who! We just know we all belong to one big happy family! Spring Fever

As I have walked through the last 3 weeks in a Benadryl induced haze I wish I could be as carefree about spring as these lovely girls. To sit on the grass and breathe in the air...but alas, spring allergies have hit me harder than ever. While I love spring and all it has to offer it wreaks havoc on my health. So to be able to capture my love for it in on a scrapbook page (indoors) is wonderful. I used the Duetica summer kit and created my own background paper. The Woodwind font is so awesome for adding leaves and embellishments. I used the cookie cutter tool to cut out the leaves and attach them to the title. This layout is pure Duetica at its finest.

Your My Best Friend!

I am so lucky that not only do I love my daughter, I like her. She is a wonderful, fun person to be around. She is always there for me, makes me laugh when I am sad, and is always good for a Starbucks run. The kit I used for this layout was an old one from Shabby Princess called Urban Kiwi. I love the black and green colors and the lacy look fits with my current wardrobe trends. I used the Duetica font Mandolyn to compliment the delicate features of the stamped embellishments (all purely digital)! And of course, the entire layout was done in Photoshop Elements. Thanks Briana, I love you!
